One older brother LITERALLY used the word infallible to describe the GB, but I'm sure most JWs wouldn't go that far. Still for all intents and purposes they do view them that way even if they technically don't. As for one or two of them vs. all of them as a body, there seemed to be a little overlap, with Henschel getting grouped along with the past presidents out of habit, and the GB as the supreme entity arising from there.

How Is The Governing Body Viewed Today By Jehovah’s Witnesses?
by minimus inare they revered like the pope is to catholics??
back in the 1960s , fred franz and n.h knorr were the only men that counted.
after franz died, the governing body became more of an idolized entity.

I was privy to an irate phone witnessing conversation
by joe134cd ini happened to be privy to a phone witnessing conversation that my aged father was conducting, the person on the other end just climbed into him.
he got real nasty and my father ended up hanging up on him.
i could see that my father was distressed about it, but or course put it down to satan and persecution.

Out of curiosity was the "householder" trying to debate him or just plain angry?

Don't forget to donate!
by neat blue dog inthe lucrative events otherwise known as assemblies and conventions are cancelled, which i'm sure has hit the wts in the pocketbook a little.
so the newest article on jwdotorg reminds us all yet again of the online recurring donation feature that takes credit and debit cards.. https://www.jw.org/en/news/jw/region/global/making-electronic-donations-in-view-of-covid-19-precautions/.

a 74-year-old publisher . . . says: “It is so easy; if I can do it, anybody can do it. It makes me so happy to know my donation is taken care of.”
Brother Eduardo Paiva from Brazil . . . states: “Recently, I realized that it is a perfect way to continue supporting the worldwide work in times of emergency and difficulties. We can use this way to keep expressing our gratitude and love in these last days.”It concludes by noting that some JWs may not be able to donate as much as before, but they still continue to support "Jehovah's organization".

JW's & the 7th angel

Wow, how did I never notice that?
Summary: So out of the seven angels with seven trumpets, current theology says that the seventh was blown in 1914 when Jesus supposedly became king. But 'present truth' ALSO holds that the sixth trumpet was blown between 1914 and 1918 during the 'cleansing' . . . So there's an obvious contradiction here 🤔

As I recall there were several glaring inaccuracies that anyone around JWs would know better than to include. I forget if it was belief in hell or something else. I think the idea was to it just be a 'devout' religion and they eenie-meenie-minie-moed on Jehovah's Witnesses, and thought the story was more important than technical accuracy.

Why doesn't the wt discuss the real reason many partake?
by nowwhat? init has nothing to do about feeling chosen or ruling in heaven, but rather many feel it's a command for all christians, that by partaking you are accepting christ as their saviour!

If all were to partake why then Jesus didn't invite everyone and not just a few chosen ones
But I thought you believed that all Christians at that time were annointed anyway?
Besides, the 'last supper' wasn't really the first memorial, as there was nothing to memorialize as Jesus didn't die yet. It was more of a demo so to speak. Afterwards, ALL Christians celebrated and partook, as evidenced by Paul's writings.
